Q: WHAT IS A CREDIT?

1 credit = $0.001. Credits are a universal routing unit — spend on voice minutes, token routing, or webhook events. No separate meters per stream type.

Q: DO I STILL PAY MY PROVIDERS?

Yes. Twilio, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, OpenAI — your bills with them are separate. HZRelay charges only for routing. We never mark up your provider costs.

Q: HOW DOES PAYG OVERAGE WORK?

On Builder and Pro, when monthly credits run out we auto-charge in 1,000-credit increments at your plan rate. No cutoff mid-session. Set a spend limit in dashboard if you want a ceiling.

Q: CAN I BUY CREDITS WITHOUT A PLAN?

Not yet — plans launch first. PAYG-only top-ups with no monthly fee are on the roadmap once we understand usage patterns. Builder at $29 is the lowest paid entry for now.

Q: WHAT COUNTS AS A VOICE MINUTE?

Active session time only — from when inbound audio connects to when it terminates. Silence and hold time within an active session count. Idle time between separate sessions does not.

Q: WHAT IS THE PRO MULTI-TENANT FOR?

Agencies building for multiple clients. Each client gets their own sub-account with isolated API keys, usage metering, and provider config. You see aggregate and per-client from one dashboard.
